Anna Murray

Little Gem Communications is the brainchild of Anna Murray, a journalist with more than 18 years of experience in writing and editing.

Her career has included working in online news, sport, lifestyle and entertainment for publishers such as Yahoo and XtraMSN, as well as for broadcasters TVNZ and Setanta (now Eir Sport).

Since incorporating Little Gem Communications, Anna has written for magazine publishers Tangible Media and is a regular contributor to the New Zealand Herald. Her current copywriting clients include global dairy giant Fonterra, for whom she has worked across both digital and non-digital platforms. She also writes and edits copy for several Auckland agencies.

She was inspired to begin Little Gem Communications after the birth of her other little gem, her oldest daughter Ruby. Anna decided in primary school that she wanted to be a writer and has stayed the course ever since. She hopes both her daughters have similar luck in discovering early on in life what it is they really want to do.
